The IFA 2016 event will be held from Sept. 2 to 7. Many companies like Samsung, Sony, HTC, LG, Lenovo, and other brands are expected to unleash new devices. Here is a low down on the devices that will be unveiled at IFA 2016.

Samsung Gear S3, Galaxy Tab S3

Samsung is expected to unleash the Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch and Galaxy Tab S3 and some home appliances at the IFA 2016. In fact, Samsung is holding a pre-IFA event today to show case Gear S3 smartwatch.

The Gear S3 is expected to come with rotary bezel and features like GPS-based speedometer, barometer and altimeter. The Galaxy Tab S3 will come with an 8-inch tablet with support for 1536 x 2048 pixels' resolution, a Snapdragon 652 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, and 4000 mAh battery.

Sony Xperia XZ, Xperia X Compact

The Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact smartphones are expected to sport similar specs like Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4 GB of RAM.

The Xperia XZ is expected to include a 5.2-inch full HD display whereas the X Compact is rumored to feature a 4.6-inch HD screen. The smaller device is expected to feature a 2,770 mAh battery Both the devices are expected to feature USB Type-C and are pegged to launch on Sept. 1

HTC One A9s

HTC had launched HTC One A9 in the last quarter of 2015. At the upcoming IFA 2016 event, it is expected to launch its upgraded version called HTC One A9s.

Its specs are under the wraps, but it is expected to appear similar to the predecessor model. The Taiwanese company is also pegged to reveal HTC Desire 10 Pro and HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle at the IFA 2016 event on Sept. 1.

LG G Flex 3, LG V20

Even though LG has confirmed to launch LG V20 on Sept. 6, it won't be announcing it at the IFA 2016 event. It is expected to hold a separate launch event for it.

Speculations indicate that LG has prepped LG G Flex 3 with specs like 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, a Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB/64 GB storage variants, 16-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel selfie shooter.  It is likely to sport a modular design like the LG G5.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2

Xiaomi has not confirmed that it will be unveiling Mi Note 2 phablet at IFA 2016. However, rumors are rife that the phablet features 5.7-inch dual-edge display, Snapdragon 820 chipset, 6 GB of RAM and 4,000 mAh battery.

Huawei

Huawei is expected to unleash new series of smartphones called Nova that will be aimed towards female audience. It will include smartphones like Huawei Nova and Nova Plus. It is also expected to announce MediaPad M3 tablet with topnotch specs.

Lenovo/Motorola

Motorola, that is now owned by Lenovo is expected to unleash 4rd generation Moto 360 smartwatch and new Moto Mods accessories for Moto Z. Lenovo is expected to Lenovo Yoga Tab and Yoga 900 laptops.
