The English re-run of "Dragon Ball Super" is still unconfirmed. Fans are still waiting for the announcement of the English version of the said series, which led viewers think that a release this year may be far from happening.

After two decades, it has been the only major show after "Dragon Ball Z." Avid viewers are already asking about the official launching of the said version, but no details were given by the rightful authority.

The series has already run more than 50 episodes after it was first released in Japan last June 2015. Since its airing, "Dragon Ball Super" has gained a massive fan base in and outside Japan, but a widespread release is yet to be conducted.

A recent Tweet by Toonami Asia has noticed that there had not been any updates regarding the English version of "Dragon Ball Super." The post advised fans they will be getting updates on the status of the anime series as soon as they can.

In a report by Forbes, it mentioned that it is expected for a huge series like "Dragon Ball Super" to take time in producing a local version. It also said it is having a big amount of lead time to produce the latter episodes of the English version.

Meanwhile, the anime TV series is about to release its episode 57. Spoilers for the upcoming episode have revealed a connection between Zamasu and Black Goku that is yet to be unfold in the succeeding episodes.

It has been hinted several times when Goku's alter ego first appeared in the series. Until now, the show has yet to unveil the connection between the two mysterious characters. Many have speculated that Zamasu is actually controlling Black Goku using the green earrings which Gowasu gave the former.

In its report, Tech Times noted that several characters from the infamous show will be included in the North American release of "Dragonball Xenoverse 2," which will be launched in PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Confirmation on the release of the English-dubbed "Dragon Ball Super" is expected in the coming weeks.
