Campo Santo confirmed on Sept. 2 that the wait for Xbox One owners will be over as the game is officially arriving on the Microsoft gaming console on Sept. 21.

"You have been asking and those questions were not falling on deaf ears. We are excited to finally be sharing "Firewatch" with our fans in the Xbox community," Campo Santo said.

The game developer released a new trailer of "Firewatch" and has confirmed a great update for the game across all platforms.

For their wait, Xbox One fans will get a complete Audio Tour in the game, which the studio describes as a Director Commentary-cum-Game Dev Workshop-cum scavenger hunt.

According to Microsoft, "Firewatch" was an indie hit when it released on PC back in February this year. It is a strikingly amazing adventure game by a "small but scrappy," Campo Santo, a group with a large pedigree, and it was received fairly. "Firewatch" follows the story of Henry, a fire guy who looks over Shoshone National Forest.

In addition, the game developer is adding a new free-roam mode to "Firewatch," this will enable players to explore the game's world and get to know the embedded secrets in the world.

Since its February launch, "Firewatch" has been a success with reports suggesting that within its first month, the game sold more than half a million copies, generating $10 million in revenue.

"Firewatch" will release for the Xbox One on September 21st.
