Microsoft recently revealed three Xbox Play Anywhere games, which are available for preorder. Games purchased through the Xbox Store or the Windows Store can be played on both platforms at no additional cost.

According to the official website of Xbox, the gaming company is happy to announce that consumers can now preorder "ReCore," "Forza Horizon 3," and "Gears of War 4." These games support the Xbox Play Anywhere feature. This feature gives their gaming community the freedom to play their games wherever they want.

The gaming company also said that to prepare for the holidays and their biggest holiday launcher, the Windows 10 PC versions of the three games can now be preordered. Consumers can order them from the Windows Store.

According to another post from the official website of Xbox, Microsoft explained that a digital game that was purchased through the two stores can be played on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC with no additional fees. The game should have the Xbox Play Anywhere feature for it to work. They also said that many more are coming with the same feature.

Players who have purchased a game with the Xbox Play Anywhere can also enjoy a useful feature. If they start playing any game, they can pause it and just play it again where they left off on another platform they desire. This feature brings all of their saves, game add-ons, and achievements to the other platform.

The games that have this feature will be treated as having one game with one account. These can be accessed across multiple devices.

For those who do not own the devices that are compatible with the games or stores, they can still access it in the future. The catalog of Xbox Play Anywhere games is stored in the cloud and can be accessed anytime.

Currently, some games that have multiplayer features are compatible with both Windows PC and Xbox consoles. The matches are restricted to co-op multiplayer due to most console players are not good enough to compete against the PC players. This feature will allow owners of both platforms to level the playing field.

More Xbox Play Anywhere game titles are coming in the near future. The ones currently known are "Sea of Thieves," "Halo Wars 2," and "Scalebound."
