Bethesda may soon start working on “Elder Scrolls 6” following their wrap up on another game title. “Nuka-World,” the last DLC for “Fallout 4” was released last week.

“Nuka-World” is believed to be the latest and last content support for “Fallout 4” and now the focus has been diverted to “Elder Scrolls 6”. Bethesda has barely started anything on the sixth installment, something brought out in the open by executive producer Todd Howard.

Howard provided an update on the real state of “Elder Scrolls 6”, bearing that while they do have ideas, no teams have been assigned to work on the sixth installment, IGN reported. He would, later on, be backed by PR and Marketing vice president Pete Hines, claiming that there are no official plans yet for “Elder Scrolls 6”.

With “Elder Scrolls 6” seemingly far off, gamers have been redirected to comfort themselves with “Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim”. A remastered edition has been released though not all may be keen on playing the same game with new features.

That said, it should be interesting to see if Bethesda will eventually make major tweaks to “Elder Scrolls 6”. It could boil down to a choice between an action-oriented or role-playing focus, both looking fit for the much-clamored game.

Going the action-oriented route would make sense considering melee combat has always been associated with the “Elder Scrolls” series. Going the RPG route will also make sense, applying the same principles that Bethesda used for “Fallout 4”.

Seeing both genres as fit for “Elder Scrolls 6”, could Bethesda end up adding a bit of both? With nothing much on the development of “TES6”, it could be a possible point for consideration.

Aside from that, it should be interesting if game developers will also integrate virtual reality on “Elder Scrolls 6”. A forecasted date of release for “Elder Scrolls 6” is by 2019. If so, there is no telling if VR technology will still be as interesting as it is right now, Gaming Bolt reported.
