Although it was thought that "One Punch Man" Season 2 will be cancelled because of its delayed release, it is revealed that the web comic-turned-anime will actually be released this month.

Fans had been wondering about the delay of the anime especially that the show's creators did not give any official announcement about the reason of said delay. Director Yusuke Murata teased that "One Punch Man" Season 2 is underway and that they have started the initial work for the series. Many are speculating that the anime will be out after the first season of Toonami ends.

Different storylines are speculated by fans including the transformation of Saitama who will be consumed by power and will turn out bad. Others theorize that Saitama will lose his powers and will make him very vulnerable to his foes which includes Amai.

But most speculate that Saitama will be facing Garou, a former disciple of S-Class Superhero Silver Fang. Garou was kicked out from his Dojo because of creating a rampage. He is also known as someone who supports monsters to achieve his ambitions since he hates superheroes.

As for Genos, the sidekick of Saitama and his apprentice, some believe that they will end their friendship since Genos will leave his side and they will go on separate ways. But it is still possible that the two will cross paths once again after things turned sour between them.

Even though things appear challenging for Saitama, it won't be that bad for him after all since he will find love for the upcoming season. But then again, even his love life will be complicated since he would be facing many missions on the side. The past life and background of Saitama will also be featured in Season 2 which means that we will get to know him better.

Despite the nearing release date of "One Punch Man" Season 2, some fans are anxious that the anime's story will be far from its original source materials which usually happens when a comic is turned into a TV show.
