Jamaica and Haiti clash in the former's capital city of Kingston this week to conclude both of their CONCACAF World Cup qualifying campaigns. The two teams were not able to go past Group B competitions that was dominated by Central America powerhouses Costa Rica and Panama, but both will definitely try to go home on a high note with a win.

The Reggae Boyz were blanked by Panama, 0-2, in their previous match held at the Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City last Friday to succumb to their third loss in the tourney and officially hand them their ticket home, as per the Jamaica Observer.

Los Canaleros' forwards Gabriel Torres and Abdiel Arroyo scored the goals in the contest as the hosts seal their place in the fifth round of qualifiers to start in November.

Head coach Winfried Schäfer's squad currently has four points in the overall standings and cannot qualify to the next round even if they win this match against Haiti as Panama already has 10 points.

Meanwhile, Haiti stayed winless in the tournament after being nipped by Costa Rica, 0-1, at their home stadium of Stade Sylvio Cator in the country's capital of Port-au-Prince also last Friday, the Tico Times reported.

Following a goalless first half, head coach Patrice Neveu's side looked like they have a chance to earn their first win of the season against no less than the three-time CONCACAF Gold Cup winners.

The score remained 0-0 until Herediano midfielder Randall Azofeifa pulled off an amazing individual goal at the 71st to put the visitors up by one.

It proved to be the winning goal of the match as Les Grenadiers were not able to answer back until time expired.
