Honda Motor company, a Japanese automotive manufacturing giant unveiled the all new Honda Gienia at 2016 Chengdu Auto show last weekend in south west China.
Honda Gienia is manufactured by Dongfeng-Honda, a joint venture which produces various Honda branded cars in the market as per Forbes. The car is told to be specially designed for China and has a similar concept of Honda Crosstour. The segment of this car is well positioned between Honda Crider which is bigger and more featured one than this and Honda Fit car.
The Honda city (Griez) appears to look compact for the users and Honda civic a bigger one and with the release of Honda Gienia, the gap between these two segments was filled up by Honda in order to attract more business and in turn profits to the company.
According to Handi Tech, the Geinia is a 5-door hatchback which shares its platform with the 4th generation Honda Griez. The exterior of the cars has some tremendous specifications like, the length is 4,517 mm, width is 1,705 mm, and height is 1,477 mm, front end with Solid Wing Face, projector headlights, multi-slat grille in the black finish, huge chrome element and five-spoke alloy wheels with a wheelbase of 2,600 mm which adds more grip on roads and rear fog lights with chrome surround gives excellent look to the car. The interiors of the car which indeed gives feel to the owner and passengers were not revealed.
Under the hood the car is powered with 1.5 liters of i-VTEC engine that generates 129 hp of power output and 155 Nm of torque performance with five speed manual transmission. Honda revealed that the car has Powertrain engine and details for this new name engine is not specified. The expected price of this elegantly designed car to be around 13,478 USD and expected to launch on October 18, 2016.
Honda, well known for its amazingly designed Accord and Civic cars, has a new car for the Honda inspirers which was unveiled in the auto show and soon to be launched in-order to roll out on Chinese roads. The segment in which the debuted car belongs, offers tough competitions for the rival company cars of the same segment. The Chinese Automotive market will witness a new member in the Honda family after its release.
