"America's Got Talent" (AGT) Season 11 (2016) Semifinals wrapped up on Sept. 8, Wednesday. The show named the remaining acts that made it to the top 10 or finals. Out of 11 semifinalists, five made it to the finals and remaining six were eliminated. Here is a recap for "America's Got Talent" (AGT) Season 11 (2016) Semifinals. Fans must note that the results are based on audience vote. The show kicked off with a brief recap of the previous night. Host Nick Cannon revealed the bottom three acts that are in danger and are eligible for Dunkin Save. Sofi Dossi, Steven Brundage, and Viktor Kee came in fourth, fifth and sixth place. The audience is allowed to vote for them through voting lines and save them from getting eliminated.
Meanwhile, the host revealed which is the first act to make it the finals. Out of The Passing Zone, Kadan Bart Rockett, and the Clairvoyants, only The Clairvoyants made it to the finals.
Fans were treated to Andra Day's performance of her hit single "Rise Up." She was accompanied by dance act of Blue Journey.
Results continued. Kadie Lynn, Calysta Bevier, and Brian Justin Crum were called on the stage. While Brian Justin Crum was declared safe, the other two acts were eliminated.More results revealed that Linkin' Bridge and Jayna Brown have also been eliminated.
As for the Dunkin Save, the results revealed that the viewers saved Sofie Dossi. And there was a tie between Steven Brundage and Viktor Kee as they got two votes each from the judges. However, Viktor had more votes, so he is advancing to the finals.
