"NCIS" Season 14 will also see new faces and a new setup for the team following the exit of Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly).

In "NCIS" Season 13 finale, Joe Spano's T.C. Fornell was shot and though there is a long road to his recovery, there will be a very good reason for him to keep going and that is his very good friend Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), who will just be at the other side of the room.

In a spoiler interview with TV Line, showrunner Executive producer Gary Glasberg revealed that Gibbs has a new roommate, Fornell (Joe Spano), they will actually start living together in "NCIS" Season 14. "Fornell is living with Gibbs as he is in recovering phase." "Be prepared, because it is some wonderful, funny, light stuff," the EP teased of "NCIS" Season 14.

While Fornell and Gibbs are good friends and they get along well, the previous seasons have shown just how much they can get under each other's skin - and that was in the workplace. Now that they are in the same house, things could be different. Fans should be really enjoy seeing them share the same flat in the new season.

While Fornell and Gibbs' drama could be funny for some viewers, it could also be a heart-warming scenario for many, especially since everyone knows that Gibbs was really affected by DiNozzo's exit from the team but would not let it show. Gibbs will be busy in "NCIS" Season 14 as he looks for a replacement for Agent Dinozzo (Michael Weatherly) who retired last season.

The search is turning to be a difficult for Gibbs, and as per crew member Brian Dietzen, who acts Palmer in the most watched drama, Gibbs has gone through a number of people, but "no one is good enough."

Fortunately with Fornell around to get into his nerves and vice-versa, Gibbs may get refuge and also a good way of getting over Dinozzo's departure.

According to Latin Post, in the midst of all this, Alex Quinn (Jennifer Esposito), Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) instructor enters the picture. Glasberg revealed that she just "shows up and says to Gibbs, 'What the hell is wrong with you?!'"

In addition, Gibbs will have to deal with the arrival of Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) in "NCIS" Season 14. Nick is an agent on the team who went on his undercover mission and has been missing for a long time since then.

Nick will come with a bad news (as the people he has been investigating are now onto him) and with a much different mode, which will cause him and Gibbs to butt heads in the new season.

"NCIS" Season 14 will premiere at 8 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, Sept. 20 on CBS.
