Pokemon GO that debuted on July 6 has generated $500 million in revenue. In July, it reached a peak point of 40 million daily active users. However, the game's popularity is slowing down. A recent study has revealed that its daily active users plummeted to 15 million users by the end of August.

However, Niantic will not let the popularity of the game go down so easily. Speculations are rife that the company is working on second generation of existing Pokemon in the game.

Fresh speculations have suggested that new evolutions will be soon listed inside Pokedex. A Reddit user NemoDepa has revealed that Pokemon GO Gen 2 update will include the following evolved forms:

  • Golbat (Crobat)
  • Gloom (Bellossom)
  • Poliwhirl (Politoed)
  • Slowpoke (Slowking)
  • Onix (Steelix)
  • Chansey (Blissey)
  • Seadra (Kingdra)
  • Scyther (Scizor)
  • Eevee (Espeon and Umbreon) and
  • Porygon (Porygon2)

Apart from the aforementioned evolved characters, players will also some new Pokemon in the game, Ranked Boost reported. The new Pokemon exist since Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver, but it will be soon arriving on Pokemon GO. Here are some of them:

  • Chikorita
  • Cyndaquil
  • Totodile
  • Sentret
  • Hoothoot
  • Ledyba
  • Spinarak
  • Chinchou
  • Pichu
  • Togepi
  • Marill

Legendary Pokemon

Legendary Pokemon is not yet available in the game. There are rumors that Niantic may introduce Legendary creatures after releasing the game in countries like China, India and South Korea that are yet to receive it.

In India, the arrival of the game has been delayed as a public interest litigation has been filed against it. More information on it can be read here.

Hence, it is unclear as to when Legendary Pokemon will be arriving in the game. However, Niantic is expected to make them available soon to bring back its lost glory. The company is also expected to soon introduce the much awaited Nearby Pokemon tracker, TheBitBag reported.

The latest version of Pokemon GO is available for Android and iOS users. It brings the new feature of Buddy Pokemon along with couple of bug fixes. The new update cannot be installed on rooted Android and jailbroken iOS devices.
