Several gaming fans speculated that Bandai Namco has invested the VR gameplay feature of "Tekken 7" to Sony since they have supported the "Tekken" franchise from the very beginning, and the reason PS VR is getting exclusive access to "Tekken 7" VR content is to reward those loyal fans and PC gamers should just be content with 4K textures, TechFrag reported.

So far, Bandai Namco has not yet showcased any content regarding the VR gameplay of "Tekken 7" and gaming fans will likely get a glimpse of it very soon.

In other news, Bandai Namco teased the possibility of"Tekken 7" having cross-platform gameplay in the PS4, Xbox One and PC, as game designer Michael Murray tweeted that Microsoft is interested with the idea of a crossplay for the sequel after a Twitter fan asked him about it.

Harada stated before the idea of having a cross-play features for "Tekken 7" is possible, explaining that it will not be difficult to do so and it was on board for consideration by Bandai Namco.

However, there are steps that needs to be done in order to make it happen. Hararda added that crossplay with PC is much easier than in the consoles. But, it also presents a problem as cheaters can create loopholes that can ruin video game experience to the gamers.

It will be up to the gaming community to decide if they want to go through with crossplay between both consoles and PC platform.

Lastly, three characters from the "Tekken" franchise may not be included in "Tekken 7" as Harada announced that Jun Kazama will not return to the sequel. Harada explained in a tweet stating that he and the rest of game developers could not get a response from the audiences during her stint in "Tekken Tag Tournament 2", hence they dropped the idea of adding Jun in the game.

Aside from Jun, Harada and Bandai Namco are also having a "tough decision" on adding more non-human characters like Kuma and Roger Jr. in "Tekken 7". With that in mind, their decision might prompt a mixed response from gaming fans as some would prefer not add them in "Tekken 7", while others want them in the sequel as they have been part of the "Tekken" series, Siliconera reported.

"Tekken 7" will launch in early 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and the PC.
