Faye Wong is making a comeback after six years in a concert at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai in December. The concert is entitled "Faye's Moments Live 2016."

The concert will also be live-streamed by Tencent.

Wong said that she will be singing hits from her new album with the classics, which will be more than 20 songs. The stage, she said, will be "dreamy".

"I will sing some of the hits, along with the songs that are my favorites but I rarely perform at concerts," says Wong.

"I have never been too ambitious about my career. I don't listen to much music these days either. I just do what I like," she adds.

The 47-year-old songbird was asked if this will be her farewell concert. To this, she said, "This is not a farewell concert. Probably I will have tours in the future, but this time, I just want to hold one concert."

According to Han Zhijie, the general manager of Tencent's copyright department, the live streaming of the news conference was followed by 10 million fans. Tencent will provide the latest in technology for Wong to be able to reach to her fans.

Wong's agent, Kate Chan is equally excited. She said, "Faye is a creative artist. At different stages of her life, she has been trying to give shape to her own ideas. We are grateful that we have Tencent to help us with the latest technology to realize her ideas."

Wong said that she will not perform on stage with her daughter, Dou Jington.

"I like her songwriting style and maybe we could collaborate sometime in the future at some smaller shows," Wong says.

Wong's hit albums include "Restless" in 1996, "Lovers & Strangers" in 1999 and "Fable" in 2000
