In another separate set of leaks, Twitter user OnLeaks posted images of Samsung Galaxy A8 (2017). "#Samsung's new #GalaxyA8 (2016) looks like a larger GS7 (156.5×77.5×7.3mm) with relocated speaker... " the Twitter post read.

According to Indian Express, the leaks suggest Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) will have a 4.7-inch HD screen (1280×720 pixels). The device will be powered by 1.5GHz octa-core processor with ARM Mali-T830.

In addition, the Samsung A3 (2017) will have 8GB internal memory and 2GB RAM. The device will also support expandable storage as well and will be operated by Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow as the OS. The Galaxy A3 (2017) will feature a 12MP rear camera with flash and auto-focus in addition to its 7MP front camera. Meanwhile, both front and rear camera in Galaxy A3 (2017) will support full HD video recording.

The 2017 model of the Samsung galaxy A7 (SM-A720x) is allegedly to be a bigger device which will have a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) display, which is the same as that of the 2016 model. The device appeared online on GFXBench, giving a clue of some of the specs and features of the impending Android-powered handset.

Since the 2016 version of the Galaxy A7 had the SM-A710X model number, it suggests that the current device shown on the benchmarking site is the successor of the smartphone.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A7 2017 will have a powerful octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset, which is based on 14nm architecture, as well as Mali T830 GPU. Same as the one that powers the company's popular Galaxy J7 2016 and is an improvement on the octa-core Exynos 7580, which powers the Galaxy A7 2016, GFXBench noted.

Just like its predecessor, the Galaxy A7 2017 will have 3 GB of RAM and it will come with 32 GB of on-board storage and not 16 GB like the 2016 model of the handset.

The notable change and standout spec of the 2017 Galaxy A7 will be its camera. The leak points to a 16-megapixel primary and secondary camera for the smartphone. However, the camera will support FHD and not support 4K video recording.

As at now, Galaxy A7 2017's battery capacity is not yet known, but it is speculated to come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.

The device will offer support for both 4G LTE and NFC and will house a fingerprint sensor, making the device compatible with Samsung Pay.

Samsung revealed the 2016 model of the Galaxy A7 in December 2015 alongside the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5.

In August, the 2017 model of the Galaxy A5 device was also seen on the benchmarking site, and it offered a highlight into the device's features.

The official release date and pricing for the 2017 Galaxy A7 is not yet known. But a strong possibility exists that both the 2017 models of the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 smartphones will launch in December.

The devices would possibly be availbe on the shelves in early 2017 if it follows the traditional cycle.

The Galaxy A7 2017 will be the third-generation model of the handset and could possibly retail in the $450 range like the older-gen model.
