One of the mysteries which remains unsolved in the show is Archer Dunhill's true identity. It has been known to viewers that the character has been the root of horror Alison went through. Just when the PLLs thought they successfully removed "Elliot Rollins" in Ali's life, he came back hunting the girls through blackmailing.

Now that the show has recently concluded its first part, fans are waiting for some hints for its ultimate chapter. In an interview with TV Guide "Pretty Little Liars" showrunner Marlene King answered a few questions which left clues for pondering. She also mentioned the show will be coming in "full-circle" for its last set of episodes.

Taking that statement, it can be possible, and fans are expecting somehow the person behind the mysterious A.D. will finally be revealed. One name has been dropped and it seems majority of the reasons fit him as the mysterious character.

It can be recalled in "First Secret," an episode in season 2 which covered the Halloween, that Mona was bullied a couple of times by Alison. It turned out she was A whom Alison was so afraid of. The episode also featured suspicions about the character before it finally revealed she was the villain, Bustle reported.

The same report pointed out that during the same episode, another character was bullied by Ali aside from Mona. It was Lucas whom the PLL called "Hermie." A few seconds after Ali left the scene, it can be seen how Lucas said wanting to revenge, "One day she'll get what's coming to her."

Basing from this encounter and the subsequent scenes that followed which revealed Lucas interacted with Ali secretly in a mask, shows the same pattern of behavior Mona showed when she became A. This strongly suggests Lucas could actually be A.D. and it is only a matter of time the show reveals it.
