Alongside the release of iPhone 7 is the announcement of Apple's upgrade to their operating system, the iOS 10. The new upgrade will allow users to do a handful of features that has never been available in the previous versions.

With iOS 10, consumers will be able to "raise to wake," quickly launch the camera, sort photos by places and faces, hide stock apps, 3D-touch Control Center, create a voice mail transcription, utilize the bilingual keyboard, open links in messages, use Siri for third party apps, and flash lyrics of your favorite songs, CNet reported.

With the "raise to wake" feature, users will now be able to check time at their iPhone without pressing the home button. The feature is motion-activated that when the iPhone is raised by the user, it automatically flashes the time from the home screen.

For the quick camera launch, the feature will automatically launch the camera when users swipe left from the main page. In terms of photo organizing, the iOS 10 will now allow consumers to sort their pictures according to faces by simply identifying the face. User will only have to click the picture, choose Details, People and Add name at the top.

It was previously announced during the iOS 10 trailer that users who do not make use of the Stocks App will now have an option to delete it. They will only have to hold and press on the icon and hit X to remove the app. This will not actually delete it but will only render the app hidden.

There is also good news for those who uses two languages. For the Bilingual Keyboard, the feature will provide an option for consumers to choose the two languages they wanted to use. Users will only have to install the keyboard languages in the Settings of Messages app. This will save time as manually switching from the globe icon will not be needed anymore.

Meanwhile, despite the many features it is offering, The Verge reported that many users have experienced problems when they updated with iOS 10. Apple just claimed that the bugs and issues have already been addressed, so it is now safe for others to update.
