Fans of the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will not merely see it as a Nintendo 3DS game but will also be given the chance to watch it as a television anime.

The news which is very welcomed by fans was revealed in the October issue of Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics magazine. The said anime will premiere on TV Tokyo and other Japanese affiliated stations on November.

The anime will be featuring new Pokémon and new characters. Spoiler indicates that in the story, Satoshi (Ash) will encounter Kapu Kokeko, who is a god who protects the Alola region. Ash will also go to school in the series, and the storyline will follow his school activities with the intent to graduate, Anime Network News reported.

Ash will also be given a Z-Ring in the anime and will meet Tapu Koko, the Melemele Island Guardian. Aside from that, details about Rockruff’s evolution into Lugarugan will be revealed. Rockruff will have a different appearance when evolving during the day or night.

There will also be new Ultra Beasts, called Beauty and Expansion, which means that the anime will not only follow the game’s setting but it will also build on it further, Forbes reported.

Apart from an anime series, it also inspired a manga adaptation by Tenya Yabuno (Inazuma Eleven, Digimon V-Tamer) titled Pokémon Horizon. It will debut in the October issue of Coro Coro Comics on Thursday.

The Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games will be launched in Japan and North America on Nov. 18. It will also be available in Europe on Nov. 23 and will soon be released on Nintendo 3DS worldwide in Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Korean.

The game will also be available in Chinese for both Traditional and Simplified versions. This shows that players can choose their preferred language for the game.

Currently, the Pokémon XY & Z television anime series is airing which premiered in Japan in October 2015 and in the U.S. on Cartoon Network on February 20.
