"Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.s'" is well and truly beginning to kick into gear for what will undoubtedly be a prime season of the MCU TV series. This follows yesterday's official announcement that ABC and Marvel Entertainment have released the first official poster for Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4. The poster offers up a much better look at the small screen version of the Spirit of Vengeance and features the principal cast with another look at Ghost Rider!

For now, a lot is been kept under wraps as fans of the TV series knows very little about "Agents Of SHIELD's" take on Ghost Rider. It is not yet clear whether Ghost Rider will be an Inhuman or will his powers be supernatural in nature. However, ABC and Marvel are pushing him in a big way ahead of the show's debut in the course of this month.

In the just released "Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.s'" poster, Ghost Rider is seen to have a pivotal spot on the first poster for season 4 as the Spirit of Vengeance watches over the crew who may end up being his enemies or allies. Interestingly, it seems like this season 4 will have a "Ghost Rider" subtitle.

The return of Marvel's "Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D." is expected to make an amazing comeback following the previous season. Although the show's season 3 was reasonably well received by critics and fans, accusations of unconvincing romance angles, repetitiveness and a lack of widely recognizable cast from the Marvel canon have contributed to less-than-spectacular ratings, Coming Soon reported.

The season 3 finale's time-skip scene, which showed a demoted Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and a rogue Daisy (Chloe Bennet), did very little to get fans excited for the show's return, and was instead a confusing finale to an otherwise solid episode.

Since San Diego Comic Con 2016, however, anticipation for "Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.s'" Season 4 has been considerably increased thanks to the announcement that the series will introduce fan-favorite character Ghost Rider, to be acted by Gabriel Luna. Understandably, much of the marketing is revolving around this new addition and the early signs are that Ghost Rider, who is confirmed to be the Robbie Reyes incarnation of the character, will have a crucial role in the forthcoming episodes.

According to Comic Book, the synopsis for the Season 4 premiere was also recently released, and while it is brief, there should be more than enough in there to get viewers excited about what is to come! "Gabriel Luna Guest Stars as Robbie Reyes, aka Ghost Rider," it promises. "In the season debut episode, 'The Ghost,' Ghost Rider is making a cameo, and this will change S.H.I.E.L.D, it will never be the same."

Marvel's "Agents of SHIELD" will return on Tuesday, Sept. 20 in its new timeslot, 10:00 PM ET on ABC.
