The Twitter will launch an app that will feature National Football League or NFL streaming for Apple TV, Xbox One and Amazon Fire TV. The good news is that NFL streaming will be a free streaming.
Together with the National Football League or NFL streaming, Twitter will also have free streaming for the Major League Baseball (MLB) and for the National Basketball Association (NBA) games.
The NFL streaming, the free streaming app of Twitter is designed primarily for televisions, like for Xbox One and Apple TV. Besides using the Twitter with Apple TV and Xbox One for tweet browsing, the use of the NFL streaming app is for live free streaming of other videos and to view curated and organized contents from Periscope and Vine.
With the Twitter app's free streaming, according to The Verge, viewers can watch the Thursday Night Football games or the NFL streaming without the need to log-in for a Twitter account, have a paywall access, or pay for a TV subscription in Xbox One or Apple TV.
Together with the NBA, MLB and NFL streaming, the content from the media organizations like Bloomberg News can be streamed as well. As with the introduction of NFL streaming, Twitter announced that individuals using the Apple TV can exclusively watch "live premium video [and] Tweeted video clips" side by side as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
With the app, the users can watch the NFL game in the bigger screen. And on the right side of the display screen, users can browse the Twitter feeds. In this way, new Twitter users would be able to get introduced to the Twitter's key features.
The CFO of Twitter, Anthony Noto stated: "These devices will bring Twitter's live streaming video experience to life on the TV screen ... Twitter has always been a great complement to TV, and now fans can enjoy even more premium video with live tweets - and the best content on Twitter - right from their TVs. We're excited to introduce this new experience to people, without requiring a paywall or having to log in to Twitter."
