In its official forum, Supercell dished out that the upcoming "Clash of Clans" September update will be huge and announced that Arranged Wars or Clan Challenge is in the progress. However, the company did not reveal details whether the upcoming mode will be included in its September update or in another update.

In the new Clan Challenge feature to be introduced by the upcoming "Clash of Clans" game expected this month, clans may issue a challenge to any clan it wants. The clan issuing the challenge will set the details of the event, among them the preparation days as well as the battle day's duration.

The Clan Challenge feature will not replace the existing Clan Wars one and in fact, Supercell clarified that the two features are mutually exclusive, meaning a clan may not issue a Clan Challenge while it is currently engaged in a Clan War. This new feature should be a welcome for all "Clash of Clans" fans as it will have better support according to Supercell as well as more balanced matches since the matchmaking are arranged by the clans themselves, CoC blog noted .

Another update expected is a new mode. Originally, "Clash of Clans" has three modes only: Single Player, Friendly Challenge, and Money Player. No details are available for what the new mode will be named or what it has to offer. Apart from that, improvements are believed to have been made for the existing modes.

Supercell is also following the reward system with "Pokémon GO" adopted by Niantic Labs. Currently, Pokémon trainers are awarded certain items like eggs, Pokeballs and potions under specific circumstances. With this, "Clash of Clans" is also speculated to have a system that will award players free gem mining. Such upcoming feature will be surely welcomed by all CoC players.

Another alleged update involves something about the CoC Town Halls. The change is seen as a very positive one for the players though not much has been leaked about.

Last month, Supercell launched a massive ban despite the reported large departure of fans from the game. A lot of innocent gamers may have been banned wrongly but it also allowed Supercell to remove bots from the game. Such a massive ban could also be a possible preparation for the upcoming update Supercell is planning for Clash of Clans.

Unfortunately, Supercell has not yet given details of the exact "CoC" update rollout. If the developers follow the same schedule as seen last month, gamers might see a month end release.
