The South Korean boy band INFINITE has recently revealed their goal to become the best idol group in the Korean entertainment industry. The group even shared some of their thoughts on the band's new album titled "INFINITE ONLY."

The seven-member group gave a candid interview during the South Korean boy band's media showcase held on Sept. 19, Monday.The group INFINITE made mention of the band's unwavering passion to become one of South Korea's top performers.

However, Woohyun indicated that despite the band's popularity, they still do not consider themselves as "the best" band, Yonhap News quoted him as saying. The vocalist explained that he and his fellow group members were not satisfied with the accomplishments that they have already achieved. He added that INFINITE will continue to strive hard to reach the number one spot.

The South Korean boy band debuted in 2010 and has released several hit tracks such as "The Chaser," "Be Mine," "Nothing's Over," "Back" and more. The group has also recently released its sixth mini-album titled "INFINITE ONLY." The song "The Eye" served as the new album's lead track and has been described as a dance pop tune.

Group member Hoya commented on the said track's "dramatic development" and revealed that it has been one of the songs in the band's pipeline of potential new records. He also mentioned the recent sad event that happened in Dong Woo's life when the said singer's father passed away in early September during the group's Japan tour. Hoya said, "We are not utterly comfortable releasing a new EP at such a bad time."

Meanwhile, the South Korean boy band revealed during the same media showcase that they had a hard time with some of their new songs' choreography. Group member Sung Yeol mentioned the change in the band members' physical stamina given their age.  

"Since we've gotten older, our stamina has gone down a bit as well," Korean publication News1, as cited by Soompiqouted Sung as saying. INFINITE released its sixth album "INFINITE ONLY" on Sept. 19, Monday, along with the band's new single "The Eye."
