The first promo trailer for "Jane The Virgin" Season 3 has been unleashed. While it is all good and bad for all the casts' members, the new trailer might just hint Michael Cordero's  (Brett Dier) fate after the attack.

As the release date of "Jane The Virgin" Season 3 nears, CBS just unleashed the first trailer loaded with a lot of exciting twists and adventures for the upcoming season. In the 40-second trailer, Jane Gloriana Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) visits Michael in the hospital while recuperating from being shot in the finale.

"This is not the end of our story," Jane told Michael. "Do you hear me, Michael?"

It can be recalled that Michael was shot during the finale episode of "Jane The Virgin" Season 2, which aired on May 16. It happened right after Michael and Jane exchanged their vows and was planning for their first sexual moment.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman assured viewers that Michael's survival will be immediately revealed at the very start of "Jane The Virgin" Season 3. She also teased Jane will finally lose her virginity in the upcoming season.

"She does lose her virginity this year," Urman stressed, adding viewers will meet someone from Jane's past before she even met Michael. "It's in the first half of the season, and it's quite a big episode for us."

Hence, it is strongly speculated that Jane may lose her virginity to another person, most presumably to Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni). Aside from Jame losing her virginity and Michael's fate, many fans are excited to know what Xiomara Villanueva (Andrea Navedo) is going to do about her pregnancy with Esteban Santiago (Keller Wortham).

Other details about "Jane The Virgin" Season 3 are being kept under wraps. What is known is that the next season will center around the idea of growing up - what it means, what it looks like and what it costs, Deadline reported.

It will also pick up on the same day as the Season 2 finale. "Jane The Virgin" Season 3 will premiere on Oct. 17. Check out the trailer below:
