Defending champions Juventus FC (3-1-0, 9 points) will look to redeem themselves from their loss in the previous round as the team hosts newly-promoted squad Cagliari Calcio (1-2-1, 4 points) at their home ground of Juventus Stadium on Sep. 21, Wednesday.

Juventus began the term with a three-game winning streak, defeating Fiorentina, Lazio, and Sassuolo all in convincing fashion.
However, the team was stunned by powerhouse squad Inter Milan in their week 4 fixture at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza last Sunday as they fell in a very close match to the hosts, 1-2, as per Calcio Mercato.
Head coach Massimiliano Allegri's side actually drew first blood in the hard-fought affair that went scoreless for the first 66 minutes until Swiss midfielder Stephan Lichtsteiner broke the deadlock with a swooping right-footer from short range off a brilliant cross from Brazilian midfielder Alex Sandro.
The lead did not last long, though, as Inter forward Mauro Icardi netted the header equalizer at the 68th minute from a pass by teammate Ever Banega.
La Beneamata took the lead 10 minutes later as substitute midfielder Ivan Perisic also netted a header with Icardi assisting.
The Old Lady had one last chance to equalize in injury time after Banega was sent off at the stroke of halftime, but the team was not able to secure a goal to snap their three-game winning run.
Meanwhile, Cagliari earned their first win in the Italian top flight last Sunday with a 3-0 thrashing of struggling club Atalanta at their home field of Stadio Sant'Elia, Football Italia reported.
Italian striker Marco Borriello led head coach Massimo Rastelli's men with a brace at the eighth and 73rd minutes while the middle goal came from forward Marco Sau at the 55th to complete the team's three-goal haul.
With the win, Gli Isolani climbed to the 15th spot of the league table, only a point above the bottom three relegation zone.
Juve is a huge favorite to win this match in lopsided fashion.
