Sophie Turner and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau came up with some interesting revelations when caught up on Emmys red carpet this year. They were pressed for throwing light on some of the unrevealed information on the "Game of Thrones," and deliberate on what is in store for viewers.

Unexpected twists and turns have been quite frequent in the past years with the HBO's super-hit series, and the viewers have adjusted to these heartbreaking plots that their favorite characters are subjected to. Therefore, the news that a few of their favorite characters may not make it to the next season would be on expected lines.

To add to that, the penultimate season has been shortened as well to just seven episodes. The number was 10 in all the prior seasons. With the filming of "Game of Thrones" Season 7 currently in progress, Turner feels that things are quickly wrapping up with the characters lingering in Belfast a bit longer to enjoy the company. In an interview with Variety, she said that not all characters from Season 7 would feature in the final season.

In the past seasons as well, there were several characters who discontinued their association with the series, and the trend would seem to continue in the subsequent seasons as well. On the other hand, Coster-Waldau revealed to BGR that with the progress of the show towards the end, the protagonists of the show would run into one another.

The cyclic trend was prevalent since Season 6 when characters introduced in the Season 1 met again in the season 6, and the same would happen more frequently. Sansa Stark, played by Turner, reunited with his brother and the show's protagonist Jon Snow in season 6, and the duo claimed Winterfell after defeating Ramsay Bolton.

She claims that her characterization in "Game of Thrones" Season 7 is likely to keep the fans and viewers on their toes, as it would be far from being expected. There are speculations on what the future has in store, and whether she would be a true Stark or not.
