Reports of Apple eyeing to buy renowned car manufacturer, McLaren, has proliferated the internet sparking series of speculations and wide-range of imaginations among tech and car enthusiasts,  including a potential "iCar."

News about a giant tech company purchasing a relatively independent or small company is not something new or surprising. We have heard of Google and Facebook, trying to shop for startup and individual tech companies which could help bolster their commercial armaments and emphasize more their greatness and drive for innovation.

However, it is not a day to day news that we hear an established car company being eyed for purchase by another institution in the tech industry. If the news is indeed true, then Apple's potential purchase for McLaren will surely change the car-making industry in a very innovative and highly sophisticated manner.

In the speculated interest of Apple for McLaren, things would be highly favorable for Apple. Unlike other tech giants, trying to experiment and introduce new car concepts, Apple-McLaren deal would be far ahead than its contemporaries.

It is quite safe to assume that both companies are experts in their own field. While Apple has been trying to innovate itself as it is continually being challenged by new brands and companies, McLaren, on the other hand, has fully established its name in the automobile industry. Their expertise would surely be favorable on any plans of Apple of introducing a so-called "iCar" in the coming years. With McLaren Technology Group working across six different division according to The Verge, Apple will be expecting a robust technological expertise in the aspect of car manufacturing.

Apart from expertise, Apple's rumored purchase of McLaren would be very fitting for a company who is known for its simplicity. Since McLaren is one of the few privately owned and smallest independent carmakers in the industry, the potential buy-out would be logistically simpler. With the established R&D and technological expertise of McLaren, it would be easy for its supposed purchaser to inculcate their own approaches and concepts.

Lastly, Apple's speculated interest for McLaren would be easily translated into a powerful and outstanding product because of the drive for innovation that both companies possess. The odd similarities of concept and vision of both companies will likely turn their future product to success, which is the speculated "iCar."

However, all of these things are yet to come true, for announcements are yet to be made. But such deal remains a theoretical possibility, despite being dubbed as an odd partnership according to Bloomberg.
