In the upcoming episodes, Special Agent Nicholas "Nick" Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) still tries to fit in in the "NCIS's" way of life. Valderram recently told TV Guide of Torres' adjustment to the "NCIS" way of life "will be struggling a lot."

Valderram noted that Torres will have a tough time working and playing with a group because he was already used to working by himself due to the years that he worked as an undercover secret agent. He added that Torres has been a lone wolf for so long which will make him have a little bit of trauma plus a little bit of post-traumatic stress that will be manifested in the way that he assimilates, and all of a sudden return to some type of team.

The official synopsis from Spoiler TV reveals the mystery of a bomb plot and a theft ring while investigating a case where a dead body was found in the FBI's Quantico training facility. However, instead of conducting a simple murder investigation, the team will discover that there is more to the story.

In addition, the synopsis adds that both Quinn and Torres will try to adjust to life on Gibb's team, including new seating positions in the squad room.

Valderrama said that Gibbs and Torres will have a "complicated working relationship" because "Gibbs sees a lot of himself in Torres. He understands the struggle." He notes that the two characters will "clash in the sense that Gibbs understands how to go by the rules and bend them if necessary, but Torres would rather break the rules in order to get the bad guy."

The "NCIS" Season 14, episode 2 air date is on Sept. 27 at 8 P.M. ET, on CBS.
