"Attack of Titan" chapter 85 ended with Eren and the rest of the Survey Corps exploring Dr. Yeager's basement. With the release of chapter 86 of the hit apocalyptic Japanese manga "Attack on Titan," the group will learn that there might be human existence beyond the walls.

In "Attack of Titan" chapter 85, Armin regained his consciousness as the rest of the group decided to continue their way to Dr. Yeager's family basement. They began looking for clues that could be linked back to Grisha, but the Survey Corps members instead made an even better discovery. They found three books that had important information about the world they live in.

In one of Dr. Yeager's journals, Eren and his crew found a photo of a man, a young boy, and a middle-aged woman wearing formal attire. The caption of the still at the back read: "Humanity was neither annihilated nor destroyed." While the chapter did not further explain what the discovery meant, it would possibly create many questions at the back of the groups' minds.

With regard to the upcoming "Attack on Titan" chapter 86, the group will be in shock after having the important revelation that seems like a puzzle. Their curiosity will be heightened about the world they live in and the walled city they are trying to protect.

In addition, if the revelation they found could mean that there is a place beyond the walls that is free of Titans and people out there are living normally, it will be difficult for the group to imagine that they should abandon the place they have called home for many years. Therefore, chapter 86 is expected to delve more into the hidden secrets and information written inside Dr. Yeager's journals.

The upcoming chapter may as well contain enough explanation about the existence of the Titans. When it comes to the human settlements that are free from Titans, the Survey Corps members may find a way of getting there. The journals may also shed light on the Reiss King who controls the walled city and the reason behind it being built they way it is.

"Attack on Titan" chapter 86 is slated to release on Oct. 8 on Shueisha Shonen Jump. Here is a sneak peek for more information:
