2NE1 member Sandara Park made an appearance at the Milan Fashion Week. All eyes were on the South Korean singer as she joined celebrities Serena Williams and Ellie Goulding at the front row of the Fendi 2017 Spring Collection Fashion Show.
In addition to Williams and Goulding, Park also met Moschino's Jeremy Scott during the Milan Fashion week.
Her appearance at the Fendi 2017 Spring Fashion show caught the attention of world-renowned fashion and lifestyle magazine Vogue, which made a short feature about Park.
Vogue described her as one of the fashionable members of popular K-pop girl group 2NE1 in addition to CL. For the fashion and lifestyle magazine, Park's "bombastic K-pop star style" had made her an Instagram sensation.
According to Vogue, "her vibe may be chill, but Park takes her fashion very seriously. It isn't enough to just be cute; she consistently pulls together outfits that mix the best in insider labels. She has a soft spot for the streetwise aesthetic that has dominated the shows lately, but only its sweetest incarnations. She's got the prerequisite Vetements hoodies, Off-White sweatshirts, and Saint Laurent bomber jackets, but they're in pastel tones-plus she wears them with neon pink Timberlands... Even when she dolls up in a Thom Browne mini skirt or a lacy dress from Versus Versace, she's one step ahead of the curve."
Aside from her style and being a member of 2NE1, Park also gained recognition as a model, host and actress. The fashion and lifestyle magazine even considered her charming personality as a distinctive factor which pushed her to success.
As stated by Vogue, "CL might have that baddest female title on lock, but Park's effortless cool, willingness to be funny-her hilarious social updates are almost as famous as she is-and dedication to her fans has allowed her to seem like the pop idol next door."
According to Manila Bulletin, Park first gained recognition when she joined reality TV show "Star Circle Quest" in the Philippines where earned a large fan base which scored her acting roles in hit TV shows and movies. She then decided to move back to South Korea to pursue a showbiz career and she debuted as one of the four members of 2NE1 and was nicknamed "Dara".
Park will be making her comeback on Philippine TV as one of the judges of an upcoming reality show "Pinoy Boyband Superstar".
