Osasuna is still winless after six rounds of Spanish top flight competitions. The newly-promoted side is on a two-game losing skid at the moment and will try to snap out of it against Las Palmas this weekend.

Los Rojillos was crushed by contending team Villarreal, 1-3, on the road at the Estadio El Madrigal last Sunday, SB Nation reported.

Brazilian forward Alexandre Pato opened the scoring for El Submarino Amarillo right at the fifth minute before midfielder Bruno Soriano converted a penalty kick at the 24th to give the hosts an early 2-0 lead.

Villarreal netted another one at the 39th with a right-footer from Italian striker Nicola Sansone to extend their lead to three goals.

Osasuna was only able to respond with one goal during the first half injury time courtesy of a spot kick from midfielder Roberto Torres.

Meanwhile, Las Palmas is on a downward spiral at the moment, being winless in three of their last four games after starting the season on a two-game winning run.

Their most recent game was a 2-2 draw with current league leaders Real Madrid at their home field of Estadio Gran Canaria last Saturday, as per the Mirror.

It was surprisingly a close contest especially because Real's attacking trio of three-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Karim Benzema are all available. Young striker Alvaro Morata started in place of Benzema, though, for Los Blancos.

Marco Asensio opened the scoring at the 33rd which was immediately equalized by Tana five minutes later to end the half tied at 1-1.

Benzema, who replaced Asensio at the 64th-minute mark, slotted in a rebound off a Morata strike to help Real Madrid grab the lead once more. However, Las Palmas forced the draw with a header from Sergio Araujo with five minutes remaining before full time.
