Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is seven months pregnant with her second child and is due on April gave the palace a scare when she had severe Braxton Hicks contractions and was rushed to the hospital. It was such chaos with thoughts that she may have to be giving birth sooner than her actual due date.

A royal source disclosed that Middleton suffered from Braxton Hicks contractions and she had to be rushed to the hospital for immediate treatment. The pain was very severe it doubles her agony. Prince William was not with his wife at the time of the emergency that she had no other choice but to ask for her aides to call for help for immediate assistance, according to IB Times.

It is known to all that Middleton has been keeping up with her royal duties and schedule of appearances despite her pregnant condition. However, her travels will be lessen for now due to the emergency that just happened recently.

Once the Duchess was admitted in the hospital several laboratory tests were done, however the medical specialists could not find out what really went wrong. Her contractions were not severe enough to be in early labor. Everything went fine however, it was a false alarm, Hollywood Life reported.

"The contractions aren't necessary a sign that the baby is coming early, but they can be a red flag, so her doctors have been preparing for an early arrival,"

Middleton was kept for one night and was under observation as her symptoms finally lessened within 24hours. She was released soon.
