Mariah Carey breaks down when she saw estranged husband Nick Cannon and rumored girlfriend Nicole Murphy went on a Valentines date. The 44-year-old superstar thinks that the 34-year-old ex-husband is rubbing his romantic relationship with Nicole in face.
"It crushes her to see Nick land a gorgeous, thin woman. Mariah thinks he's just rubbing Nicole in her face," a source told Life & Style. "She'd heard through the grapevine that Nick was seeing her, but Mariah thought it was low for him to parade her around on Valentine's Day," the source added.
Cannon and Carey, who are parents to Monroe and Morrocan, officially filed for Divorce in December 2014; however, the same source has added that the "Hero" singer is secretly hoping for a reconciliation.
Murphy and Cannon started dating in the earlier part of the month. The rumored couple was first seen together on a dinner with close friends in New York and were spotted to have exchanged sweet gestures to each other during the Valentine's Day, News Everyday shared.
"Nicole and Nick had a late romantic dinner on the Valentine's Day at the Tavern on the Green. They were so into each other to notice onlookers surrounding them- they held each other's hand from across their table romantically gazing at each other until they finished their meal," a witness said.
Cannon filed his divorce paper against wife on Dec. 12, while Carey chose to work on a property settlement in advance of her husband taking the initial step in court.
