Although, Sony has not yet announced anything yet for the PSX 2016 event, gaming fans are eager to find out whether a new "Crash Bandicoot" could be seen in the PS4 since "Skylanders: Imaginators" were able to acquire Crash as playable character, bringing some nostalgia to people who haven played the original game in the PlayStation console.

It was during the Electronic Entertainment Expo event several months back that Sony heard the calling of video game fans that want to a "Crash Bandicoot" on the PS4. Numerous rumors and speculations were featured on several internet sites that teased a possible title in the works soon.

Sony was made aware of the fans need for the return of "Crash Bandicoot" as they announced that they are working on remastered versions of the three "Crash Bandicoot" games from the original PlayStation console; "Crash Bandicoot", "Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back" and "Crash Bandicoot: Warped".

What makes it more interesting is that three "Crash Bandicoot games" were developed by Naughty Dog and and "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" featured a cut scene were in Drake is playing "Crash Bandicoot" on Elena's game console which happens to be the first PlayStation console.

For of now, Activision currently has the righs of the "Crash Bandicoot" series and might as well be the once to develop the three remastered versions or even a new title afterwards. Without a doubt, Crash Bandicoot will see a new game released. While neither Activision or Sony have confirmed this, it seems the most logical outcome.

There are also hints that the three "Crash Bandicoot" remastered games could be put in a bundle pack and will likely launch sometime in 2017 for the PS4, Express reported.
