HBO programming president Casey Bloys has shared a substantial amount of new details about the potential "Game of Thrones" spin-off. He believed that there may be more stories to tell in Westeros.

"There are so many properties and areas to go to," Bloys told The Hollywood Reporter at the Westworld premiere in Hollywood. "For us, it's about finding the right takes with the right writer."

Bloys clarified that HBO is not actively developing any further "Game of Thrones" series at the moment. Although nothing has been discussed in any formal capacity, Bloys admitted that there are things that undoubtedly sound interesting.

"There are things that sound interesting, but at this point, we have no writers assigned or anything like that," Bloys explained. "In a perfect world, 'Game of Thrones' would keep going, and we wouldn't have to deal with any of this."

However, showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have kept up their disinterest in a "Game of Thrones" spin-off. While they have not discouraged the concept, the showrunners personally have no desire in working on another series within the same universe.

It was previously reported that showrunners are thinking about wrapping up the immensely popular fantasy series with just 13 more episodes. "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will just comprise of seven-episode and six-episode for the potential eighth and final season.

In an interview with Variety, the showrunners expressed that the short run will seemingly allow them to spend more time per episode. They also noted that the short-order episodes are due to the smaller amount of story content remaining.

Latest spoilers claimed fans can expect Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) at the Dragonpit, a huge arch in King's Landing, in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. It is worth noting that the House Targaryen used the Dragonpit to stable their dragons.

The Roman ruins of Italica, Santiponce, Seville, might reportedly be the place where the Dragonpit scene will be recorded. It is said that HBO was initially fascinated in the Ex-Monastery of San Isidoro del Campo, but found that it was too modern-looking for their purposes.
