The battle between Natsu and Gray begins and it looks like the two friends coming to terms are very unlikely at the moment. Meanwhile, Erza and Irene's battle is about to begin as well.
In "Fairy Tail" chapter 504, Natsu and Gray went head-to-head with the former being out of control while the latter being so fixated to kill his friend after finding out that he is the demon, E.N.D. The two unleashed powerful spells one after another, and it looks like it is up to Lucy to stop them.
The Celestial Mage is now back on her feet and leaves Brandish and Dimaria in Porlyusica's care. In a flashback, it appears Dimaria was successful in dealing a fatal blow against Lucy as Natsu was seen hugging her while crying. This signifies Natsu may have done something to bring Lucy back to life or somehow heal her injuries.
The scene shifts to the battlefield where the Fairy Tail mages are being overwhelmed by Alvarez Empire soldiers. Moreover, Irene's magical eye appeared on top of the battlefield searching for Mavis. The First, however, was not fazed by the Enchantress and showed herself, which raised the morale of every guild member. In the next chapter, it looks like Mavis will pull something out of her sleeve to turn the tides of the battle.
In the next chapter, "Trump Card," fans over at Reddit believe Mavis will give the world a glimpse on how strong Fairy Heart is. As mentioned in the previous chapter, Lumen Histoire/Fairy Heart is unlimited supply of magic. Hence, Mavis can use this to reinvigorate not only every Fairy Tail member, but also their allies. With this, Erza can now go face-to-face against Irene, who clearly has some beef with each other.
Fans believe the two goes way back as their scarlet hair signifies that they came from the same lineage. Also, their overwhelming magic power is a sign that they came from a very prominent clan. Some suggest that this clan was so strong that the other powerful wizards connived to eradicate them. They were successful in doing so but the two was able to escape.
