"Arrow" season 5, episode 1 recently saw Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) moving on from her ex-fiance Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell).
After their on-and-off relationship, Felicity has decided that being in a relationship with Oliver isn't the best way to go. After all, every time they tried to take things to the next level, they typically jeopardized their relationship as members of Team Arrow. Towards the end of the episode, Felicity could be seen in the room receiving a shoulder massage from new character Detective Billy Malone (Tyler Ritter).
Meanwhile, other than Felicity's love life, another exciting detail that was unveiled in the premiere episode of "Arrow" season 5 had to do with Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy). In season 4, Laurel aka Black Canary was already killed off, but since season 5 has a series of flashbacks throughout its entire run, viewers will see more of Laurel in the upcoming episodes.
While at the hospital, Laurel and Oliver had a conversation with each other. During that time, the former urged the latter to promise her that she wouldn't be the last Black Canary in Star City. This way, a part of Laurel will always be with Oliver especially when the latter embarks on his missions.
Unfortunately, Oliver is not yet ready to start a new Team Arrow. This is the very reason why he struggled throughout the first part of the episode 1. When Felicity convinced him it was time to create a new team with new members, Oliver said that he still wanted to see if his old friends would still want to work with him.
Time is running out for Oliver who should already make a decision. After all, there's a new villain on the loose and Prometheus is out for blood.
