The latest details for "Final Fantasy 7' remake will feature a possible PlayStation 4 Pro version and the game's first episode to launch on March 2017.

Several rumors are making rounds regarding Square Enix's "Final Fantasy 7" remake as the game will likely be ported to Sony's updated PlayStation 4 console, the PS4 Pro.

According to Reddit username central_void, Square Enix had to "overhaul" the entire game to make it fit the parameters set by Sony in order to make it run smoothly in the PS4 Pro. central_void's post mentioned that the changes may delay "Final Fantasy 7" remake's 2016 release, and it might be pushed back to 2017.

There have been rumors that "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be ported on the new Nintendo NX console, but game director Tetsuya Nomura stated in an interview that they have no plans whatsover in putting the game in the new console anytime soon.

In other news, it seems that release date of the first episode of the "Final Fantasy 7" remake has been teased as several gaming fans claim that it will launch on March 2017, GameNGuide reported.

Square Enix plans on having an episodic release for "Final Fantasy 7" remake as game producer Yoshinori Kitase told Game Informer he wanted to divide the game into three parts and be patterned similar to "Final Fantasy XIII". Kitase added that each part of the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be a full-scale game as every installment may tell the story from a different perspective.

Nomura stated that that they are preparing for a big info reveal within "Final Fantasy 7" remake, instead of releasing small bits and pieces every now and then. Nomura added that the remake is still in the early development stages and added that it will quite awhile for it to be complete. Both Nomura and Square Enix will personally announce the following updates about the game very soon.

Square Enix is rumored to have more details for "Final Fantasy 7" remake at the PSX 2016 event on December.

"Final Fantasy 7" remake is speculated to launch sometime in 2017 for the PS4 console as it marks the 20th Anniversary of the game.
