"Valkyria: Azure Revolution" new details have been revealed. The PlayStation 4 demo has been recently released.
According to the official website of Sega Japan, they have revealed the latest information about the upcoming video game. The press release gives details on different menu items in the video game, and also new official screenshots.
Sega Japan gave details on how to get the game demo version 2.0 through different events. They said that there will be a countrywide Twitter campaign to distribute the product code for the demo. There are also different Japanese game shops that will have the product codes.
Different "Valkyria: Azure Revolution" merchandise will be sold in a store in Japan. The store will sell official T-shirts with character prints, official keychains, package illustrations in sets, and many more. Those who cannot visit the shop can order these items through the Sega Store and the Amazon Sega shop online.
According to the official website of PlayStation Store Japan, the game demo is only available on PS4, and it is free to download for fans who bought "Valkyria Chronicles Remastered" Japanese version. They should also have unlocked Battle Trial 1.0. For those who have fulfilled those conditions, they can download the demo on the Japanese PlayStation Store.
The gameplay of the game has improved a lot from the first demo. It has the new battle palette that stops time. This allows players to select their actions changing the battle completely, and this is closer to the original series this time around.
The demo revealed different features of the upcoming video game. It showed the headquarters of the Anti-Valkyria unit called Vanargand. This is also the place where players can organize their party.
To purchase different items that can help players during battle, they can go to the supply officer. The Lieutenant will let them accept missions, and currently it only has three. These missions are the Base Assault Mission on the Imperial Road, Grotsuen Recapture Strategy, and the Valkyria Suppression Mission.
The magic factory owned by Basil is accessible in this demo. This is where the Vanargand units are outfitted. Players can only customize the battle palette, but in the full game they will be able to enhance weapons and develop side arms.
