Bella Hadid's mom just offered an update on her Lyme disease struggles. What did the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star say?

On Tuesday morning, Yolanda Foster, the mother of Bella, Gigi and Anwar Hadid, appeared on an episode of Good Day New York, where she spoke out about her daughter's health struggles after celebrating Bella's 20th birthday alongside Gigi and Bella's boyfriend, singer The Weeknd, the previous night.

"Bella, you know, Bella is struggling. It's hard to imagine that this beautiful bright light on the cover of magazines that she could struggle the way that she does," Foster told the show hosts, according to a report by the Daily Mail on October 11.

"She's always tired. She could sleep for 10 hours and wake up (and say), 'I'm still tired.' In the younger generation it comes up like anxiety, severe exhaustion, joint pain, flu like symptoms and they just keep struggling over it."

Meanwhile, Bella's teen brother, Anwar, has been handling the illness much better. In fact, according to Foster, Anwar is at about 90 percent and determined to get 100 percent healthy as he continues to do the work needed to beat the illness.

For the past few years, Foster has chronicled her battle with Lyme disease on episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and last year, she revealed Bella and Anwar Hadid were also suffering from the illness. Foster also faced criticism on the show due to her inconsistent stream of selfies. As fans of the Bravo reality series will recall, Taylor Armstrong, who previously starred on the show full-time, pointed out to Lisa Rinna that Bella's mom is sick one minute and happy the next.

As Bella and Anwar continue to struggle with Lyme disease, Foster has been spending a lot of time in New York City and has recently revealed she will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the series' upcoming seventh season, which began filming in Los Angeles over the summer.
