If latest reports are anything to go by, the electronics giant Samsung is testing a TouchWiz user interface overhaul with optional app drawer. The change has appeared on software in the beta software program on the Galaxy Note 5.

However, the beta is not available throughout the world. At present, it is limited to Samsung Galaxy Note 5 devices in Korea and China.

A new report points to the arrival of the Grace UX coming to the Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7. Furthermore, the update will bring the Note 7's Always on Display to the devices.

According to reports, the South-Korean company has not outlined any particular release dates for the updates.

The software company has given a few smartphone owners a Android 7.0 N release window to look forward to.

Previous reports suggested that the first Galaxy Android N updates would roll out in the fourth quarter of 2016 (October, November and December). This seems to be accurate.

Samsung is planning to roll out its first Android 7.0 N update later this year. This puts the release firmly in the fourth quarter.

Presently, Samsung is testing the Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7 Android 7.0 Nougat updates. Recently, the Galaxy S7 Android N update appeared on GFXBench.

The benchmarks do not essentially mean that the Android 7.0 Nougat release for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Samsung Galaxy S7 is imminent. It could be many weeks or more before Samsung is done with its internal testing.

The Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 will receive the new update first, YouMobile reported.

Moreover, the mobile carrier T-Mobile has confirmed that the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7 will get the Android Nougat update.

Quicker multitasking, new installer animation, improved Doze mode and bundled notifications are some of the new features in Android Nougat, Forbes reported.
