No, there will be no Ian Somerhalder - Nikki Reed divorce happening anytime soon!
Following the heartbreaking split of A-list stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, it seemed like every Hollywood couple is now subjected to such rumor and that includes Somerhalder, 37, and Reed, 28.
While such nasty rumors may be attributed to Somerhalder's former relationship with ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev, fans can't help but wonder if there's any truth to it.
Despite the uncontrollable rumor mill, it seems like the couple is actually having the time of their married life. The "Vampire Diaries" actor recently revealed his eagerness to have children with Nikki Reed.
"Absolutely! I can't wait," Somerhalder told E! News when asked about his thoughts of having kids.
However, he admitted that having kids anytime soon is not going to be possible due to his busy schedule.
"But with this schedule, living on a television show, it's a bit difficult," the actor further explained.
Good thing, though, after seven years the final season of "Vampire Diaries" is about to air on Oct. 21, 2016. Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed will finally have enough time with each other and the possibility of having kids is no longer an issue.
And while he is "starting a new family" outside of the TV show, Somerhalder admitted that like the avid fans of the show, it will be hard for him to say goodbye to his "Vampire Diaries" family.
"You develop these family dynamics here and in this particular situation, once this does end and we yell 'cut' on the last scene on the last set up of the last episode, what will be the most difficult is when the family breaks up," he revealed.
In other news, a hint of hope to the Ian Somerhalder - Nina Dobrev reunion in the finale season of "Vampire Diaries" has been reported. While the Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed divorce rumors are rife, a recent post by 27-year-old actress has stirred news that Nina Dobrev could actually return to "Vampire Diaries" season 8, Celebrity Dirty Laundry noted.
