Brad Pitt has finally reunited with his six children after spending weeks away from them due to Angelina Jolie's divorce filing and a child abuse investigation against him.

According to a new report, Pitt spent 90 minutes with his kids in a supervised meeting recently and during the visit, his 11-year-old daughter, Zahara, who he and Jolie adopted from Ethiopia, and his 8-year-old daughter, Vivienne, who they welcomed naturally, were reportedly "crying."

“The visit was gut-wrenching: Vivienne, 8, and Zahara, 11, both started crying, asking when they could go home [to Brad’s compound in LA’s Los Feliz neighborhood]," an insider explained to In Touch Weekly, via Hollywood Life.

In turn, Pitt reportedly informed his kids that “it would be soon.”

Pitt and Jolie have six kids, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox. In addition to Zahara's adoption from Ethiopia, Pitt and Jolie also adopted Maddox from Cambodia and Pax from Vietnam.

The visit “was a very emotional meeting,” the source reveled, confirming that Pitt and his kids were monitored by the Los Angeles Department of Children Family Services as they played together, made pictures and spoke to one another.

“Brad told them this situation with the social workers absolutely wasn’t their fault and that no one was in trouble," the source explained.

Pitt is currently under investigation due to an alleged altercation between himself and Maddox during a plane ride to Los Angeles, which made a short stop in Minnesota. According to the report, Maddox was attempting to defend his mother during a fight with his dad when things allegedly turned violent.

Sadly, during Pitt's emotional reunion with his kids, Maddox “wasn’t that receptive" to his father.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt on September 19, just days after the reported incident between him and Maddox took place. Since then, the kids have been staying with Jolie full-time and will continue to do so until their temporary custody agreement expires later this month.
