"Resident Evil 7" demo coming to other video game platforms has been confirmed by its producer. The Kitchen PSVR demo is now live today.

Producer Masachika Kawata said to WWCFtech in an interview that his development team would like to have the demo available on other platforms, so that other players can enjoy it. He said that the PlayStation 4 demo will be getting another update to allow the players to try out the other aspects of the horror game. Currently, they do not have a fixed date for the update release, but he assured that it will be out before the full game is launched.

Kawata confirmed that the video game will not have any online feature, despite the cooperative online play from previous game titles were well received by fans. He clarified that the key concept of the video game is horror, which meant that the development team wanted players to play alone to get the best horror experience.

The "Resident Evil 7" producer was asked about the "Resident Evil 2" Remake, which was revealed recently. He said that there is another producer for the video game, who is currently working on it right now. He also said that he is hoping that they would get information to share soon.

In other news, Capcom has released the Kitchen demo for the video game on PlayStation VR. According to VG247, players who got the VR demo will expect one more demo update before the game releases in January.

The VR demo was included with all the PSVR units in a disc in North America. It will also be available for download in Europe through the PlayStation Store online.

The Kitchen will be just a taste for the PSVR owners of what to expect from "Resident Evil 7" when it is released on Jan. 24. They will be able to play the game on the PSVR and they can also play without it entirely. They can also use the same save data to play either in the regular version or in the VR mode.

The previous demo, which was exclusive to the PS4 was called the Beginning Hour. It allowed the players to explore more of the mysterious mansion. It did not feature any character or content that will be included in the final game.
