Fans of "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" are in for a treat. The SBS historical drama will be delivering back-to-back episodes on Oct. 18, Tuesday at 10:00 PM (KST).

The good news came to light when Korean Dreamas Only took to Instagram on Oct. 17, Monday. In the photo, it is said that SBS will air the 16th and 17th episode of "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" on Oct. 18, Tuesday.

It comes after SBS cancelled the broadcast of the historical drama's 16th episode on Oct. 17, Monday due to the special broadcast of the baseball game between the LG Twins and Nexen Heroes, Soompi reported. Right after the network announced the cancellation, Hong Kong's LeTV and Singapore's One TV Asia took to Twitter to announce that they will not air the said episode as well.

However, China's top online video streaming service Youku aired the 16th episode by mistake. Although Youku immediately deleted the said scene, the leaked episode of "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" is now widely circulating the web.

In the next episode, fans can expect to witness the tragic death of Park Soon-Duk (Z.Hera) after she blocks a sword intended for her husband Wang Eun (EXO's Baekhyun). Devastated by his wife's death, the 10th prince begs the 4th prince Wang So (Lee Joon-Gi) to kill him.

"Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" episode 16 will also showcase some sweet interactions between Wang So and Court Lady Hae Soo (IU). As the latter takes care of the former's wound, the two become more comfortable and intimate with one another.

Meanwhile, it seems that things are not going well for King Jeongjong, personal name Wang Yo (Hong Jong-Hyun). The 3rd prince, who ascended to the throne following the death of his half-brother Wang Mu (Kim San-Ho), will have a nightmare of Wang So becoming the fourth king of Goryeo.

In late September, Lee discussed his aloof and reserved character in the historical drama. In particular, the 34-year-old Hallyu star revealed that the 4th prince Wang So, who is known for his perceptive thinking and cruelty, will now show a more confident and stronger character.

"From being the most neglected prince, Wang So suddenly becomes the center of attention," Lee told SBS, as cited by The Kpop Herald. "He will tackle betrayal, jealousy, romance and more so keep watching!"
