New details for "Injustice 2" will feature four DC characters added to the roster and a possible early launch date for the sequel.
It seems that more DC characters will be coming to "Injustice 2" as Captain Cold, Black Canary and Starfire could be added to the roster soon. Captain Cold was first teased by "Mortal Kombat" creator Ed Boon when he tweeted a character poll of him along with Blue Beetle and Swamp Thing. Captain Cold had the lowest percentage of the three, but it did not stop Boon from teasing the character as Boon tweeted another photo o his "Injustice 2" shirt teasing several items from DC heroes and villain, including Captain Cold's Cold Gun.
Boon also tweeted another character poll with the fans asking them if they want to see Redhood in "Injustice 2" with The Joker and Jason Todd as the choices. When the results of the poll came, 81 percent of the fans voted for Jason Todd, while 19 percent came from The Joker.
The last character poll featured Starfire, John Constantine and Black Manta, where in the results revealed thar 43 percent of the vote goes to Starfire, while 32 percent goes to John Constantine and 25 percent goes to Black Manta, Gamespresso reported.
Black Canary is also being teased for "Injustice 2" when "Arrow" star Katie Cassidy teased a video game project via her photo on her Instagram wearing a motion capture helmet and suit. Several fan speculations revealed that Cassidy could be bringing Black Canary in "Injustice 2", but nothing has been confirmed yet.
So far, the confirmed characters in "Injustice 2" are Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, The Flash, Blue Beetle, Aquaman, Gorilla Grodd, Atrocitus, Harley Quinn and Deadshot.
In other news, it seems that "Injustice 2" will have an early release date sometime next year as several reports stated that the game will launch on the first quarter of 2017.
"Injustice 2" had a tentative release date of March 2017 via French game website Gameblog, however, NetherRealm Studios has not yet made any comments regarding the launch date.
There are chances that the PC version of "Injustice 2" will likely launch alongside the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles or probably in a later date.
"Injustice 2" will launch sometime in 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
