Nickelodeon announced that "The Loud House" TV show has been renewed for a third season of 26 episodes. The Nickelodeon's hit animated series is inspired by creator Chris Savino's childhood and follows 11-year-old Lincoln Loud (Collin Dean). He is the only son, in a family with 10 daughters.

"The Loud House" voice cast also includes Caleel Harris as Clyde McBride, Liliana Mumy as Leni, Nika Futterman as Luna, Cristina Pucelli as Luan, Catherine Taber as Lori, Jessica DiCicco as Lynn, Grey Griffin as Lola, and Lara Jill Miller as Lisa. Animation and Games SVP James Stephenson recently released a statement in a press release.

"Chris Savino has created a very engaging and relatable world through the animated series The Loud House, which is a proven hit with our audience.," Stephenson said. He noted that "The Loud House" Season 3 is a demonstration of Nickelodeon's commitment to bringing fresh stories to their viewers.

The first season of "The Loud House" series premiered on May 2 and according to Variety, its second season is expected to debut soon. Since its May launch, the series has emerged as the number-one kids' animated show on TV, posting double-digit gains over 2015.

The Nickelodeon's press release revealed that "The Loud House," currently the top-rated kids' animated kids show, is averaging a 3.4/985K among Kids 2-11 (a 38 percent increase over 2015), and 3.3/585,000 with Kids 6-11 (48 percent increase over 2015). The show is also delivering almost 2 million total viewers (1.8MM; +29 percent).

"The Loud House" viewers can visit the The Loud House page on Nick.com and the Nick App to have a behind-the-scenes look at the TV show and "The Loud House" Facebook page. Fans can also experience  "The Loud House" Instacomic on Instagram. This is an interactive, digital comic book allowing users to help Lincoln Loud on his quest to find the missing remote control, TV Series reported.

"The Loud House" is currently in season one, premiering weekdays at 5:00 p.m. (ET/PT) and its third season will premiere in 2017. Watch the first episode of "The Loud House" here:
