Two characters are now playable, Corvo Attano, and Emily Kaldwin. This will give new audiences a variety of ways in playing the game as both characters have their own unique abilities. Giving the audience the freedom to choose will make the gaming experience a somewhat a non-linear walk-through. It is also welcoming to both old and new audiences because of this feature.

However, Harvey Smith, the director for "Dishonored 2," shared his thoughts on the matter when they were developing the game. The problem that they had was the pre-release hype for the game and that making a better game than the original is harder than most people think, according to Den of Geek.

Smith said: "Sequeling a popular game is not as easy as you think," said Smith. "If you change it too much, you lose the original audience. If you don't change it enough, you lose the original audience and the new audience."

It is known that Smith has had a bad past about some of his previous work, namely, "Deus Ex: Invisible War," which was criticized by many players for not living up to the expectations.

The aesthetics of the art direction of the game also shifted to a more and exciting theme. In the footage, the design of the clockwork mansion offers so many possibilities and makes an incredibly new mechanic for the gameplay. The stages of the game will now have its own theme and mechanics, making the players learn how to adapt to the situations every time they encounter new missions, Gamespot reported.

The "Chaos" system is also back where the player can choose how he or she will take on the mission. The decision to go stealth or action is completely up to them. However, these decisions will affect the outcome of the next mission because actions from the previous stages will reflect the following stages.

"Dishonored 2" release date is set on Nov. 11, 2012. The trailer of the game can be seen below.
