The first trailer for "Teen Wolf" Season 6 confirmed that the worst has arrived for Dylan O'Brien's Stiles Stilinski. He is taken by the Ghost Riders, and now all of his memory has been erased and it is as if he never existed.

The mythology behind the Ghost Riders is something new to the show. "The idea is that the Wild Hunt passes through your town and if you see the Ghost Riders, they'll take you with them and make you part of the hunt," creator Jeff Davis told EW about the characters.

Early on in the sixth season, Stiles gets taken by the Ghost Riders. Scott and the rest of his friends don't remember him, but they all have a feeling that someone's missing. The only person who still remembers Stiles is Lydia, and Davis explained that this is because they have a strong, deep connection that is unique to the both of them.

"They just have this feeling that they're missing something. So everybody goes about their everyday lives, normal lives and keeping the pack together but there is an element in everybody that there's kind of feeling like something is missing," Posey told AOL. An advantage to having been exposed to various supernatural creatures in the past and having their werewolf senses is that the pack knows that if they feel something bad is happening, it means something bad really is happening.

Although the series appears to be taking on a darker route for their final season, Posey assured fans that comedy, romance and sexiness will still be mixed in.

As this is their last run, Posey shared that he will miss "being on set with everybody and seeing them every day. They are truly family and it never feels like work so I will definitely miss all of that."

"Teen Wolf" Season 6 premieres on MTV this fall.
