BTS continues to nab several impressive milestones with its second full-length album "Wings." With the South Korean group's rising popularity, the seven-member K-Pop boy band may soon rival Psy's "Gangnam Style" fame in the Hollywood music scene.

"Wings" recently broke a Billboard K-Pop record originally held by the girl group 2NE1. The boy band's album landed at number 26 on the Billboard 200 chart, which is several slots higher than 2NE1's previous record of number 61 with its 2014 album titled "Crush."

The South Korean group's album sales also beat EXO's former record for its "Exodus" album, according to Billboard. Released in 2015, the said album sold 6,000 units during its debut week which is lower than BTS' "Wings" album sales record of 16,000 units.

The Kpop idol group's popularity has been steadily growing, not only in Korea but in other countries including America. Similar to Psy's achievement with his worldwide hit "Gangnam Style," the Kpop boy band appears to be on the same successful path as the said solo artist.

With two sold-out United States concert tours under its belt, BTS became one of the hottest South Korean boy bands to hit the Hollywood music industry. The group's marketing strategy also appears to focus on capturing the interest of American fans with the Kpop band's unique blend of music.

In an interview with the same publication, Grace Jeong, editor-in-chief of the Kpop news and media site Soompi, made mention of the different elements that contributed to BTS' popularity in America. Apart from the distinctive Kpop sound, the group members were able to blend their "individual artistry" into their music.

"BTS has something to say," Jeong added. "[The boy band] has a great marketing strategy that doesn't alienate non-Korean-speaking fans."

In other news, BTS' latest track titled "Blood Sweat & Tears," as well as its music video, landed on several YouTube Music Global charts for the week of Oct. 7 until Oct. 13. The said song nabbed the 14th spot in the chart's Top 100 Tracks, while its music video landed at number 17 of the Top 100 Videos list, according to Soompi.

Meanwhile, the band's chart standing in the YouTube Music Global Top 100 Artists list recently jumped more than 60 places from previous periods. Besting Hollywood musicians such as Ariana Grande and DJ Calvin Harris, BTS moved from number 67 to number 6 in the said chart.

BTS made its debut in the South Korean music industry in 2013 and released its second album "Wings" on Oct. 10. Watch the music video for "Blood Sweat & Tears" below:
