The eclectic reality star Khloe Kardashian is in talks to be the host of the popular show "Fashion Police" after Kelly Osbourne announced that she is leaving the show. In the running is also "Real Housewives" star NeNe Leakes. Both of them were approached for this position earlier as well but things did not work out.However, after the unceremonious exit of Osbourne, the producers are in a tizzy to land a suitable replacement and they are sparing no efforts to woo the future hosts of the show.
The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star was approached in 2014 for a stint on "Fashion Police" but she passed up the opportunity. This time around if the offer is really high then she might change her mind and accept the offer, according to Daily News.
On the other hand, Leakes was also approached for being a host on "Fashion Police" after Joan River's demise in 2014. Again, things did not work out between Leakes and the producers and the empty slot finally went to Kathy Griffin.
Osbourne bid adieu to the show after a verbal spat with her co-host Giuliana Rancic who ridiculed Osbourne's friend Zendaya Coleman's hairstyle at the recently held Academy Awards. As per Sowetanlive, Coleman wore her hair in dreadlocks and Rancic made some unsavory remarks over it saying that they were smelling of "weed and patchouli oil." This infuriated Osbourne no end and she threatened to quit.
Osbourne's exit was confirmed by the network producers in a statement last week saying, "Kelly Osbourne is departing E!'s 'Fashion Police' to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years".
