Jamie Dornan, the male lead of “Fifty Shades Darker,” has a full frontal shower scene in “The Fall” season 3. His role is Paul Spector, a killer psychopath who has sexual whimsies to the extreme.

The nude scene has generated buzz and its preview on YouTube was viral with almost 300,000 views because Dornan did not have any body double for the scene which were not edited. He should have done a bare-it-all scene in “Fifty Shades Darker” but at the last minute backed out. According to HNGN, the reason he did not show his private parts in “Fifty Shades Darker” is the paycheck was not that big for a new actor.

According to entertainment websites, Dornan was offered a bonus of $1.5 million to do a full-frontal scene in “Fifty Shades Darker.” Dornan and Johnson were allegedly paid $250,000 each in “Fifty Shades of Grey” which grossed more than $569 million, so the two asked for higher talent fees for “Fifty Shades Darker.”

In “Fifty Shades of Grey,” Dornan’s private part were covered in a tiny flesh-colored bag which were tied like a little bag of grapes and tucked away which he did while filming the movie, according to GQ. The film’s Director’s Cut on DVD/Blu-ray with 10 more minutes of steamy sex in addition to the 20 minutes in the on-screen sex between Christian Grey and Anastasia was released on May 8.

But is the bigger paycheck the only reason why Dornan agreed to shed his clothes in the TV series? One reason cited by reports is that the actor’s wife, Amelia Warner, was against the idea of a total nude scene for Dornan with co-star Dakota Johnson because of rumors of an alleged affair between her husband and Johnson.

In “Fifty Shades Darker,” Johnson had bare-it-all scenes. Speculations are she is hurt that Dornan showed everything in “The Fall” but not in their film together.
